My Approach

My mentoring sessions create a safe, supportive, and relaxed space, tailored to each neurodivergent individual. I work with neurodivergent children, teens, adults, and parents, recognising that no two people experience the world in the same way.

My approach is rooted in lived experience and a solid understanding of neurodivergent brains. I focus on offering practical guidance, genuine validation, and steady encouragement, helping individuals better understand themselves and feel more confident navigating daily life.

Together, we explore areas such as:

  • Self-awareness and identity

  • Rejection sensitivity and emotional overwhelm

  • School and educational struggles

  • Navigating social challenges

  • Burnout, shutdowns, and meltdowns

  • Building healthier, more balanced relationships

I aim to explore how neurodivergent brains work and identify what helps each person feel safe, respected, and empowered in a world that often doesn’t make enough room for difference. This understanding helps us navigate real-world situations where expectations feel unclear, overwhelming, or unmet — reducing confusion and the risk of burnout or meltdowns.

Sessions are practical and collaborative. I may use reflection sheets, gentle discussion prompts, and (especially with children and teens) creative tasks, such as making posters or visual tools about their neurodivergence. These activities help individuals feel involved, curious, and more connected to their own needs and strengths.

I also work closely with parents, offering guidance on understanding their child’s neurodivergence and supporting them to build reasonable adjustments at home, in school, and in wider life.

All sessions are delivered online via Zoom, with no pressure to use cameras. Comfort, consent, and flexibility are always prioritised.
